It’s tax time! You are working on your 2021 income tax return. To claim charitable tax credits, you are organizing your donation receipts.
Our team cares about your experience, and we want to simplify tax time for you. At the same time, we are a small team that is still growing into our major system upgrades we launched in October 2021.
So, this article explains shows you how to search your email for all the receipts for your 2021 donations.
If you complete these steps and are still missing receipts, you can easily get them reissued. Please read the steps below to determine whether you should contact our team or Charitable Impact to reissue your receipts.
Step 1: Search your email for receipts from our team
If you made a donation through the RC Forward website on October 13, 2021 or later, your receipt was sent directly by our team. If you donated “offline” by e-transfer, cheque, or pre-authorized debit at any point in 2021, your receipt was likewise sent by our team.
To find these receipts, search your email for emails from the sender “[email protected].” Most email providers have an option to “print email to PDF,” so that you can download these receipts as PDFs.

Step 2: Search your email for receipts sent by Charitable Impact
You might not need to complete Step 2. It is only required if you donated on our website before October 13, 2021, using a credit card. These receipts would have been issued by Charitable Impact.
To find these receipts, search your email for emails from “[email protected]” to pull up these receipts.

I followed Step 1 and Step 2 above, but I am missing some 2021 receipts. What should I do?
No problem. If you donated before October 13 with a credit card, you will need to email Charitable Impact. Otherwise, you’ll need to email us.
In your email please include the following information about your donation:
- The date you donated
- The donation amount
- Your payment method (credit card, direct debit, e-transfer, cheque)
- Your name
