We sometimes hear from Canadians who wish to support high-impact charities through RC Forward by making a gift in USD.
We can help. RC Forward offers three payment methods for gifts in USD: cheque, bank draft, or wire transfer.
What currency will my receipt be issued in?
All of our tax receipts are issued in Canadian Dollars, so we use the Bank of Canada daily rate for the day we receive the funds, to find the Canadian Dollar value of your USD gifts.
How do I set up a USD gift through RC Forward?
You have three payment methods for gifts in USD. Whichever method you choose, remember that you can split your gift between up to 6 charities or funds at once.
- Cheque: Please mail your cheque to 308-303 East Pender Street, Vancouver BC, V6A 0J3. Remember to include your email address on the cheque, as well as which charities you are supporting with your gift.
- Wire transfer or bank draft: Please email us for our wire transfer information, and then email us once more once you’ve sent the wire, to let us know which charities your gift is supporting. Email [email protected] to get started.
