Hear directly from Anima International about its work:
Anima International envisions a world where animals are not treated as products. Founded in 2018 by leaders from Poland and Denmark, Anima International connects animal advocates from these countries as well as Lithuania, Norway, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Belarus, and the United Kingdom. Anima International’s intention is to make change happen for animals as quickly and effectively as possible and speed up progress in countries where animal protection is neglected, such as Ukraine and Russia.
Anima International has long supported the ideas of effective altruism — using evidence and careful reasoning to choose the best way to help others.
Donations to Anima International would support several areas of its work:
Movement building — Anima International aims to strengthen the power and effectiveness of the animal protection movement throughout Europe and Asia.
Investigations — One of this organization’s strengths is its ability to create excellent investigation projects that inspire compassion towards farm animals.
International campaigning teams — In the coming years, Anima International aims to create more change for animals by focusing on campaigns against international companies.
Meat reduction initiatives — Reducing meat intake is one of the most effective ways that people can help animals.
Animal protection strengthening in Russia — Russia is one of the most important political powers in the world, and spreading information here about the problems of factory farming and animal suffering is currently incredibly neglected.
Impact research — Anima International seeks to learn from and add to the global debate on effective tactics and strategies in the animal-protection movement.
